what i don’t like…

Filed under: Uncategorized — by thedoglady @ 4:19 pm

…is that doing my job well requires me to spend a Friday afternoon reading things called “Data Resilience Solutions for IBM i5/OS High Availability Clusters”. Seriously.

*sigh*

You scored as Cinderella. Your alter ego is Cinderella! You often find yourself doing a lot of housework, but if you are patient, your hard work usually pays off. You are prone to losing things, so dont rush through everything.

at last, my dream has come true

when i was little, i didn’t care too much for dolls or tea sets, but i LOVED stuffed animals. in particular, i liked animals from the Gund company because they were extremely soft and huggable. there was (and still is) this store near our cabin that has a very large selection of Gund animals, so of course this was my favorite shop to visit while we were at the cabin. i liked to get stuffed animals and pretend they were my real live pets. most of all, i always wanted to get this huge golden retriever named Muttsy because he was so soft and looked (at the time) like a real dog. He was really expensive though – like $50 – so of course I never was able to get him. Year after year, we’d visit that store when we went to the cabin, and I would always hug Muttsy and wish that I could take him home.

Last night as I lay on the couch with a warm fuzzy Teego snuggling next to me, I realized that I finally have my own real live Muttsy. :-)
